DETECTOR MODULE ASSEMBLY

The detector module assembly consist of 8 detector units, a preamplifier board, and a T-bone. The positioning of units within a module is controlled by module gluing fixtures. The fixture holds the module mounting frame (t-bone) and 8 detector units. The preamplifier board receives high voltage from the high voltage power supply and distributes it to all detectors units in the module. The output of the detector units is connected to a preamplifier board which converts current signals from the PMTs (Photomultiplier Tubes) into a voltage signal and transmits them to the Raptor. This Detector module can be used with Discovery ST, Discovery ST (4 Slice), and Discovery ST (8 Slice)and Discovery ST (16 Slice) systems.
